I called Tom Schaefer because they were recommended by a friend. Our furnace went out and with the extremely low temperature it made us very nervous. From the first contact I was impressed and knew I had made the right call. They made it out sooner than we expected and were able to properly diagnose the issue and fix the furnace on the spot. I was so impressed by their ability to exceed my expectations. They will always be my go to for HVAC and plumbing for now on! Thanks for the amazing service!!!

The experience from start to finish was great. The appointment was scheduled for the next day. I was called when the tech was on the way. The tech was very professional, knowledgeable and respectful of my house. He answered all of my questions and explained patiently. I would not hesitate to use them again.
Andy was on time solved my problem was very polite. He also left the area very clean. I had a clogged kitchen drain.
They return calls, show up on time, and fix the problems. Our whole extended family in Lake County continues to use Tom S Co. for furnaces, plumbing, ac, and today when it was 5 below zero - our furnace. Quality work, dependability, and fair prices.
I would highly recommend Tom Schaefer Plumbing! We had previously hired 2 plumbers that didn't know how to fix the pipes for our RO system. Tom Schaefer Plumbing was able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue and had all supplies with him. Also the scheduling staff were polite in booking our appointment. I will definitely hire them again!
One of the coldest days of winter our furnace stopped working. I called Tom Schaefer Plumbing and they had a HVAC technician to my house within the hour to help me get our furnace working again! They are up front with cost and provide great professional service! I certainly will be a returning customer for other services.
Andy did a great job installing a new garbage disposal in our kitchen sink. He left everything under the old broken & leaking disposal neat and clean. We also appreciated his good advice about how to care for our new disposal in the future.
